Biden Attacks Tennessee Parents Who Protested Mask Mandates, Threatens Republican Governors Who Oppose Mask Mandates; Simultaneously, He Abandons Americans in Afghanistan

President Biden attacked Tennessee parents who protested mask mandates for the second time in less than a week in an address delivered at the White House on Wednesday afternoon.

Biden also threatened Republican governors around the country who have banned school board mask mandates, at the press conference, during which he took no questions. He did not address the unfolding military debacle in Afghanistan caused by his reckless decision to remove all American troops before American citizens in the country were evacuated. At present the Biden administration has abandoned thousands of Americans left behind enemy lines in the country which the Taliban overran earlier this month in a matter of days.

Here is a partial transcript of Wednesday’s press conference:

START OF TRANSCRIPT

Yes, Every Kid

President Joe Biden:

We need to make sure children are wearing masks in school. Before I talked to you about the news relating to vaccines let me talk about masks and our children.

Unfortunately, as we have seen throughout this pandemic, some politicians are trying to turn public safety measures – children wearing masks in schools – into political disputes for their own political gain. Some are even trying to take power away from local educators by banning masks and schools.

They are setting a dangerous tone. For example, last week there was a school board meeting in Tennessee and protesters threatened doctors and nurses who were testifying, making the case for masking children in schools. Intimidation and threats were seen across the country and are wrong. They are unacceptable. (emphasis added)

I have said before, this isn’t about politics. It is about keeping our children safe. It is about taking all the viruses together, united. I have made it clear that I will stand with those who were trying to do the right thing. Last week I called school superintendents in Florida and Arizona to thank them for doing the right thing requiring masks and schools.

One of them said we teach science so we follow the science. The other said, students first. I could not agree with what they both said. That is why today I am directing the secretary of education, an educator himself, to take additional steps to protect our children.

This includes using his oversight authority and legal action, if appropriate, against governors trying to block and intimidate local school officials and educators.

As I said before, if you are not going to fight COVID-19, at least get out of the way of everyone else who is trying. You know, we are not going to sit by as governors try to block and intimidate educators protecting our children.

For example, if a governor wants to cut the pay of hard education leaders who require masks in the classroom, the money from the American rescue plan can be used to pay the salary 100 percent.

I am going to say a lot more about children in schools next week as we head into the school year. Remember this, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the CDC, says masks are critical, especially for those not yet vaccinated, like our children under the age of 12.

Let’s put politics aside. Let’s follow the educators and scientists who know a lot more about how to teach our children and keep them safe than any politician.

This administration is always going to take the side of our children. Next, I want to talk to those of you who cannot get vaccinated – can get vaccinated but you haven’t.

The Delta variant is twice as dangerous. Vaccines are the key to stopping it. We are making progress. More than 90 percent of seniors have at least had one shot and 70 percent of people over the age of 12 have gotten their first shot as well. That is good news but we need to go faster.

END OF TRANSCRIPT

As The Tennessee Star reported, both CNN and Biden distorted the Williamson County parents’ meeting last week.

And, as The Star reported, the science shows that cloth masks are not effective at limiting the transmission of COVID-19.

There is NEVER any reason for a medical professional to be chased out of a meeting by someone yelling “We will find you!”

    1. JB

Are the ‘medical professionals’ special or something? Over the past 18 months, their ‘expert’ credibility seems to have shot to hell.

Biden did not unfairly call out Williamson County parents … he spoke truth about them. There is no place in civilized society for the behavior exhibited by parents at the school board meeting. No one should threaten doctors for speaking scientific truth. No parent should model such awful behavior for their children to replicate. The behavior at that board meeting resembled the behavior in the Capital in January. It is no wonder bullying in schools has increased. Disagree … but disagree with civility and evidence, if not reason.

“The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government, are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.”

  3. Joe Biden is a senile old man with dementia, as evidenced by. He was opposed to Trump’s “Warp Speed” so called Covid-19 “vaccine” program before he supported it. Remember?

you know its bad when even the communist MSM isn’t carrying water for senile joe on his miserable failure in Afghan

Will Bill Lee push back against the federal overreach here as stated to Buck Sexton? The public education system is clearly controlled by the federal government. Still common core, still mandatory online testing with third party contractors, selling your child’s information, critical racist theory. Now Dementia Joe says he will take our money, bypass the state altogether and fund the federal indoctrination 100%. He knows what every K12 child in America needs.

The Tennessee Governor’s choice of “Do, OR Don’t”, is freedom of choice. Do it, or do not do it = Freedom. Therefore, Joe “I forgot ALL about Afghanistan” Biden is officially opposed to freedom of choice.

At best, This is political blustering. At worst, this is the president of the friggin’ USA calling for the removal of America’s freedom of choice, and forcing compliance to ONLY HIS political party’s will. Or whomever is in control of the president’s obvious strings.

Joe Biden’s Democrat Party flag is beginning to cast the EXACT same shadows as that of a 10,000 year old religious symbol, ruined by Germany in 1939.

Masks worn by the public do not provide any kind of safety whatsoever , to any kind of respiratory virus. The wearer , and all people in the vicinity of the wearer are exposing themselves and others to all of the respiratory viruses going around- not just COVID. Masks make the spread of COVID worse , not better. Respiratory virus particle sizes are measured in nanograms. The physics of their behavior is completely different even than bacteria. i.e. they remain in the air much longer and move easily through and around a mask in sufficient quantities for infection. N-95 respirators must be fit tested for size and face shape to be effective. The exposure time wearing an N-95 should be 30 minutes or less due to unmolding and fiber degradation. For the past year and a half , areas requiring lockdowns and social distancing have fared no better than areas that have not. Massachusetts , the second most vaccinated state , has a higher death rate than Mississippi, the least vaccinated state. Media liars portay Mississippi as some kind of anti-vax hell hole – not true.
The occupation of Afghanistan happened before Trump or Biden either one. The United States was over there to keep terrorist groups from organizing headquarters in the “no man’s” territory of Afghanistan. It was not a crusade to Westernize or convert anybody over there. Protection of the Afghan people was a secondary benefit to them , crappy as that sounds. So, not only was the sudden withdrawal from Afghanistan a horrible and unacceptable move related to harm to the Afghan people, it puts the US , and the entire world in danger.

Watch how this junta flails about as it looses all control of the narrative. Threats and coersion. This is how regimes act when they do not have the consent of the governed. Installed president, congress elected through fraud, corrupt courts…

That globalist intervention should have ended in late 2001. But then the uniparty warmongers were taking us to another unconstitutional war in Iraq. “Go fight it yourselves!! Oh yeah! The ruling elites always EXEMPT THEMSELVES from what they impose on us.

Tennessee Republicans have abandoned their fellow Tennesseans to Covid by not requiring them to practice basic safety measures. This proves that all the talk about “Family Values” by Republicans is a pack of lies.

    1. Kitty Lenoir

How is a mask a ‘basic safety measure’? Let’s hear your sources that prove that the masks work to prevent the spread of the virus.

    2. JB

I believe the key word here is ‘requiring’. Believe it or not, there are people who believe in personal choice and a concept called freedom. I believe the so-called experts told you that if you get vaxed, then you would be OK. Now they are telling you that someone else needs to get vaxed and needs to wear a mask for you to be OK. Now they are telling you that you need a 3rd shot. This is what normal people call being lied to. Please feel free to take the vax by all companies who are offering it as well as wear multiple masks if you desire. Also, Covid isn’t going away, and if you believe that it is, this is what normal people call being lied to. For you, it will be boosters and masks today, boosters and masks tomorrow, boosters and masks forever.

From a President who turns his back on 1,000’s of Americans stranded in Afghanistan and leaves the Taliban billions of dollars in brand new military weapons.

If all of you would stop ⏱Fox Entertainment News, yes Fox Entertainment, you would get the truth. They are no more then the the National Enquirer. If you would watch Fox News in your Home town, they don’t tell you all the crap you here on Fox Entertainment. The FCC would fine them! That why Fox Entertainment gets away with all the lies. They are nothing more then a Tabloid Magazine. Get your head out of Trumps Ass and learn the truth. He has all of you,and he doesn’t give a shit about any of you.

      1. Steve

        Mr./Ms./? Goodwin:

I would like to point a few things out to you that you obviously are unaware of. While Fox News regularly has the highest ratings for news channels, I’ll wager that the majority of those who comment on this website do not solely rely on Fox News for their information. Fox get about ten minutes of my daily morning two hour news dig. On the average I source my news from over twenty five local, state, national, and international internet news websites.

As to President Trump; how would you possibly know whether he cares about us or not? Here is how I measure a president’s credibility, with results. Our Nation was experiencing an economic success rate that has never been equaled in my life time. People of ALL races were experiencing a level of quality of life seldom attained. The unemployment levels for Blacks and Hispanics were at historic highs. Most all of the metrics that I gauge quality of life by were very high during his administration. And now, with that senile old bumbling fool Biden in office, America is running off the rails, and the democrats that cheated their way into the mismanagement of our Nation are intentionally doing all they can to destroy our economy and way of life.

If you still believe the party line about the chinese virus, you are very ill informed. You might want to broaden your scope before it’s too late.

      2. Eagle

        Mr. Goodwin,
So what “news” network would you suggest? Wait, I know, msnbc and specifically rachel madcow. hahahahaha. I’m so funny!

    6. Steve Allen

William: It has been said before but I guess I have to repeat it; If you are worried about a disease that has a >98% survival rate then why don’t you get vaccinated? That is, if you really believe it will do any good. And, why don’t you wear a mask all the time, that is, if you really believe it will do any good. This whole vaccine and mask BS shows one of the glaring examples of the difference between liberals and Conservatives. Liberals are always telling the rest of us what we should and should not do. Conservatives believe everyone is entitled to live as the wish and make their own decisions based on their own research. Liberals claim and behave as if they are smarter than the rest of us, so they believe that gives them the right, and obligation to control the world. Well I’ve got news for you, mind your own %*(#$%# business.

To these people who want to continue U.S. intervention in Afganistan: go fight it yourselves and LEAVE our young people alone!!!!!!!!

    1. Kitty Lenoir

Everyone agrees with President Trump, it’s time to get out of endless wars, but have a plan. Biden did not have plan, obviously.

    2. Traditional Thinker

Leave our young people alone so that they can be indoctrinated through universities to hate this country just as much as you do and watch it be destroyed by the surrounding enemies. Not to mention the enemies within, enemies such as yourself, the progressives, and democrats who share their beds with rhino republicans. Yeah, that’s a great plan if you’re communist. You and your president are batting .1000 on intelligent ideaology these days. Pathetic sonny boy.

    3. jamesb

why shoulsdwe go to afghanistan. it is a full time job dodging bullets on our own city streets thank to your liberla ideas.

    4. Steve Allen

William: I believe the last survey I read showed that the majority of Americans wanted the U.S. out of Afghanistan. The issue is the manner in which Mr. Magoo, or whoever is really in charge, went about it. It’s pretty obvious that one of the intents was to leave behind as much military hardware as possible. But the big questions is why? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
